As in past years, we strive to showcase the best our community has to offer in agriculture, education and community heritage. We live in a unique area of Michigan and the purpose of the fair has always been to reflect the many ways we live, work and play in the Upper Peninsula.

We take pride in our many activities and shows that are presented during the fair. With contests exhibits – both agricultural and livestock, musical groups, The Newberry Idol Contest, special shows, and more, there is something for ages 1 to 101!!

Throughout the year, the Luce West Mackinac Fairgrounds hosts a variety of events. Shown to the left is Newberry’s Official Moose Capital of Michigan Mascot – “Moe the Moose” with visitors to the 2007 Moose Fest. Visitors enjoyed lumberjack shows, the Wilderness Woman Challenge, Live Music, snowmobile racing, great food, exhibits, and more!
